The differentiation between parallels and convergences and if there exists elements of sameness and similarity between the two.

Parallels can be thought-provoking, perplexing and mysterious

Convergences are more easily identifiable and can either lead to parallels or help with the identification of a parallel...especially if the -parallel- has convergences that are directly related & or indirectly related to -it-

Parallels are things that are having to do with things that have a high degree of "sameness".  They may be considered coincidences & may appear with coincidental timing.   When these things happen there are not only greater degrees of convergences but also greater degrees of *significance* -(not only to each individuals perspective of experience, but to humanity as a whole. -/Not just on a personal level but on a universal level as well.
